After the incomplete trip of Mundhum Trail, we had to reach Taplejung for our next trip, Kanchenjunga Base Camp. We decided to go via the Madhyapahadi Lokmarga, which would be the quicker option. As we left Khotang, we passed through Bhojpur, Hile, Dhankuta, Tinjure Milke Jaljale to reach Taplejung. It was supposed to be a boring ride of around three days, but to our surprise, TMJ was full of blooming rhododendrons. We had been here twice earlier, and returned kind of disappointed on both occasions.

So, this unexpected surprise was a welcome sight for us. Enjoy our three day road trip up to Sekathum, from where we begin our Trek towards Ghunsa.

We wanted to spend a good weekend with our team members who missed our last trek. Bunjungle Adventures, suggested by one of our followers in instagram, happycrafts_nepal, turned out to be the perfect location. Just a few kilometers away from Kathmandu Valley, this is the only treehouse concept resort apart from Chitwan and a few other places outside the valley.

And we must say, we were not disappointed. The ambience is amazing, calm and relaxing. Everything you want for perfect weekend getaway. Then there's the hike to Tarakeshwar Mahadev in side Shivapuri National Park. It takes about half an hour to reach there and the hike is around a couple of hours. Walking through the dense forests, taking in the fresh air, experiencing different types of weather within a short interval of time, view of Kathmandu Valley, we were exhilarated when we reached Adheri Khola Waterfall. Events took a drastic turn when we dropped our gopro in the water. Finding it after 14mins was the happiest moment and we all learnt a valuable lesson.

Right after we returned from Millennium Trek, we joined the 12th hike of Travelling Nepal Tips to Chitlang and Markhu. This was their final hike of the year, and we were invited as Special Guests. We're not a big fan of traveling in huge group, and this was new for us as we're traveling with 34 people.

The hike was much easier than we're used to, but it was a completely different experience for us. It was much more relaxed and fun, with so many people, hiking together, staying together, enjoying together. We stay in Chitlang for the night and hike towards Markhu the next day. It was a very nice break for our tired legs.

We would like to thank the team of Traveling Nepal Tips for inviting us on this hike and congratulate them for successfully running the 12th consecutive hikes for a year. We're also grateful to everyone who joined the hike with us, you were all great.

If you love snow and the mountains, you'll love this one. Tan and Phet were in Ktm on April 6 and we had to leave by April 8. It was raining all over Kathmandu.
Our trip to Lower Solu's Holy Dudhkunda Lake felt scripted, as the hope of a clear weather was grim when we left Kathmandu. To our surprise, the weather opened up when we were in Salleri. The next couple of days, when we were trekking, the weather was gloomy again. But snowfall was a bonus for us. And the day we went to Dudhkunda, there wasn't a single trace of clouds in the sky.

Only a few destinations are reachable so easily in Nepal that can take you directly to the base of the mountains. And a lake with such beauty and religious significance, its surprising how its still so underrated. Hope you make your plans to visit this place soon!

Episode one was almost all about Hyolmo Culture. The second episode will focus on the different lakes of the Gosaikunda Region, including the famous Gosaikunda, Bhairabkunda lakes. But unlike normal travelers, we take a different route through Bhairabkunda, ascending down towards Saraswati Kunda and reach the Naukunda area. Naukunda, as the name suggests has 9 different lakes, relatively unknown to many, even to the majority of travelers who’ve already been to Gosaikunda. After the lakes, we cross the Jhyakung Pass, and start our ascent. Jhyakung Peak, 5 mins from the Pass is a great vantage point. The journey then continues to Rauchuli where we camp for the night. The Next day, we bid goodbye to the high spirited Au Tshering and stop at Baghmara for the night, a recently popular destination of Nuwakot. The last hike of the whole trip is relatively short and easier as we reach the last lake of the Ghangri Circuit, Sagar Kunda. After having lunch at Sagarkunda, we hike down to Ramti Bajar and visit the famous Dupcheswor Mahadev concluding our journey.

We'd been to many "Sano" Pathibharas on our travels to eastNepal. It always got us curious and wondering about the main Pathibhara. And thank the gods, we got the opportunity to visit this holiest of the holy temple, a welcome end to our long and treacherous journey.

Madhesh Pradesh, it was the province we chose as our province while participating in Imagine Nepal, a reality show dedicated to promoting the tourism of Nepal. We traveled for around 25 days across all of the eight districts of Madhesh Province. On the platform of Imagine Nepal, we had a few limitations. And since it’s over now, we present to you, Ghumante Madhesh Series, Episode One. In this series, we’ll take you along our 25 days journey to various different places of Madhesh Province, along with our experiences.

This episode begins with our journey from Kathmandu to Simara Airport. After we officially enter Madhesh Province, we explore the peripheries of Simara and enjoy the sunset at Dumarwana. The next day, we enter the bustling Financial City of Birgunj and spend a couple of days exploring different sites and the delicacies. We also discover the Bhisuwa Dada, a holy pilgrimage site for the Buddhists in Birgunj.

We are thankful to Aasu Sarraf, Omprakash Sarraf, Binod Kumar Shrestha, Pradeep Kuwar and many other individuals we met on the way who helped us on our way.

🇳🇵Namaste from Nepal! :) I'm finally back after 3 years. Nepal has always been one of, if not my *favorite* country, which is why I've been back 4 times. There's something about the simple, happy people that keeps bringing me back. They don't have much, but they always greet you with a smile on their face. Being here is extremely humbling, and always helps me reconnect with myself and my thinking. I realize my problems are not as bad as I think, and I can live with a lot less than I feel like.

I realize this video may be somewhat strange as half of the video is me speaking Hindi with 2 Indian girls. I didn't plan this video, and expected it to be more about Nepal. But my videos are about my real experiences. I don't script things, and this is what happened right off the plane :)

Also for my Nepal friends - my Nepali is getting MUCH better now! This was filmed over 2 weeks ago, and I'm really excited as I'm writing this for you to see how it has improved. Stay tuned!

Shiva Statue Pumdikot is one of the major attractions of Pokhara Sightseeing. Nepal’s Tallest Lord Shiva Statue in Pokhara is the emerging local attraction for domestic and international travellers. The Shiva Statue in Pumdikot was built in Mathura of India and then brought here to Nepal and installed. Pumdikot Shiva Statue is located in the southern part of Pokhara at an elevation of 1500 meters from sea level.
