Road Trip to Taplejung via Khotang, Bhojpur & Tinjure Milke Jaljale, the Rhododendron Capital!

After the incomplete trip of Mundhum Trail, we had to reach Taplejung for our next trip, Kanchenjunga Base Camp. We decided to go via the Madhyapahadi Lokmarga, which would be the quicker option. As we left Khotang, we passed through Bhojpur, Hile, Dhankuta, Tinjure Milke Jaljale to reach Taplejung. It was supposed to be a boring ride of around three days, but to our surprise, TMJ was full of blooming rhododendrons. We had been here twice earlier, and returned kind of disappointed on both occasions.

So, this unexpected surprise was a welcome sight for us. Enjoy our three day road trip up to Sekathum, from where we begin our Trek towards Ghunsa.
